Description
Field calibration is essential for accurate and legally compliant noise measurements. An acoustic calibrator allows you to check your sound level meter or noise dosimeter before and after each measurement, ensuring your results comply with occupational noise regulations.
Standard 1 kHz reference tone
The Model 103 (Class 1) and Model 104 (Class 2) acoustic calibrators produce a standardised 1 kHz tone at 94 dB and 114 dB. 94 dB is typically used to calibrate sound level meters, while 114 dB is typically used to calibrate noise dosimeters, allowing a single calibrator to be used across both types of instruments. Built-in sensors automatically correct for temperature, humidity, barometric pressure and battery condition, helping maintain accuracy in a variety of conditions.
Available as a Class 1 or Class 2 calibrator
Both models are easy to operate and fully comply with IEC 60942:2017. The Model 103 is suitable for Class 1 instruments, while the Model 104 is designed for Class 2 instruments typically used in occupational noise assessments.
Durable and easy to use
Each calibrator is compact, durable and easy to use, with a long-life 9-volt battery and an automatic power-off feature to prolong battery life.
