Today, 26 March 2018, Pulsar Instruments Plc, a leading provider of sound level meters and experts in control of noise at work, is delighted to announce the appointment of our new General Manager, Simon Rehill. Simon has been appointed following the departure of Sarah Brack, previous Managing Director of 12 years, who sadly leaves Pulsar for a new role.
Simon’s key remit is to implement Pulsar Instrument’s ambitious growth plans in the next decade. He has over 20 years’ experience in international sales and management environments, including as European Sales Manager for Micron Sprayers Ltd, and latterly as Director of Business Development for Airinov. In addition to his other qualifications and experience Simon has recently completed the IOSH accredited courses in Noise Measurement and in Vibration.
Commenting on his appointment Simon said “Pulsar Instruments is sad to see Sarah Brack leave us, she has done a superb job in growing Pulsar’s influence in the sound level meter market. She’s been an excellent leader and innovator and it’s going to be a challenge to fill her shoes, but we have a clear strategic plan in a place and I’m excited to take Pulsar into the next decade at a new level.”
Sarah had played a key role in Pulsar Instrument’s recent achievement of attaining a rare 100% score in the BSI’s assessment of its Quality Management System to the ISO 9001:2015 standard. The British Standards Institute commented that “her leadership and motivation was a key driver in the success of Pulsar Instruments’ Quality Management System”.
Pulsar’s Board said “We approved this new post of General Manager some time ago and have had a clear succession plan in place. Simon is a great fit with the company, and we are very confident he is the right person to continue Pulsar Instrument’s growth.”
