Description
The Pulsar vB² simplifies vibration assessments by allowing you to measure both hand-arm vibration (HAV) and whole-body vibration (WBV) with a single device. It measures frequency-weighted acceleration on all three axes, displaying Aeq/RMS values, Peak and the Vector Sum. You can begin with either the hand-arm accelerometer or the whole-body seat pad and add the other at any time, giving you a future-proof solution as your needs change.
Hand-arm vibration measurement
The Pulsar vB² enables accurate assessments of exposure to vibration from handheld tools and machinery in accordance with ISO 5349. It automatically calculates A(8), HSE Exposure Points and the time to reach the Exposure Action Value (EAV) and Exposure Limit Value (ELV) for hand-arm vibration, allowing a complete hand-arm vibration exposure assessment.
Whole-body vibration measurement
For operations involving vehicles or machinery, such as forklifts, excavators, and tractors, the whole-body seat pad enables compliant measurement of whole-body vibration in accordance with ISO 2631 and ISO 8041-1. It automatically calculates A(8), VDV and the time to reach the Exposure Action Value (EAV) and Exposure Limit Value (ELV) for whole-body vibration.
Simple setup and real-time results
A robust design and minimal setup make the Pulsar vB² easy to use in real working environments. Simply attach the accelerometer, switch on and press record. Real-time measurements from the X, Y and Z axes are displayed on the colour OLED screen.
Effortless data handling and reporting
The Pulsar vB² stores can store over 2,000 individual results, which can be reviewed on the screen or downloaded to a PC for analysis and reporting using vBPlus software.
