Pulsar have just released 3 new dates for their one day noise at work awareness courses during 2017 that will take place at various dates and locations across the UK. The popular one-day Noise at Work Awareness course is designed to give safety professionals an insight into the harmful effects of noise, acoustic terminology and principles, employers’ statutory duties and Legislation, risk assessment/noise survey techniques, and how interventions can be developed using noise monitoring tools and noise control methods.
Experienced as well as new safety practitioners will benefit from attending the course, which can be used as a new learning experience or a refresher, or a taster to the IOA Certificate of Competence Workplace Noise Risk Assessment (5 day course).

What makes this professional training special?
Our training team consists of very experienced trainers, members of the IOA (Institute of Acoustics). We have a long history of delivering Noise at Work awareness training to safety and health professionals. The course is very comprehensive but delivered at a pace to suit any learning style. Tuition is delivered in small groups (no more than 12 delegates) to promote interaction and practical demonstrations.

The cost of the course is £265 + VAT per person (includes extensive course notes, lunch and refreshments).

Graham Ellicott (MIOA) with over 15 years of experience as an independent, practising noise consultant.
Certification:
On successful completion of the course, delegates will be handed out a certificate of completion and attendance. This can be used to provide additional evidence of competence for compliance during an audit.
