The last of 2012 One Day Noise Courses ends on a high note
“Once again, this years’ Noise Awareness training programme for Safety Professionals delivered by Pulsar Instruments in the UK has been an unprecedented success,” said Sarah Brack, Chief Executive.
The course’s last date for 2012 was on 26th September and was held at the Museum of Science and Industry (MOSI) in Manchester.
Pulsar Instruments has received extremely positive reviews from its delegates who have commented on the quality and relevance of the training as part of their health and safety duties.
The aim of the course is to
- Raise the awareness and understanding of noise as a risk
- increase safety professionals’ knowledge and perception of the risk level as a result
- encourage safer behaviour and correct use of PPE at work in order to be compliant with industry regulations
Praises from attendees include:
“Extremely informative and helpful course”. Very good overview of ‘real life’ noise measurements.
“Well run course, knowledgeable presenter who covered all items thoroughly. The Museum of Science and Industry as a venue was excellent!”
“The course has helped me understand about the many abbreviations used when dealing with noise and how to download my noise measurement data effectively along with specific details for report production.”
Commenting on its success, Sarah Brack continued “We are delighted with the response we have had to the course. It is designed to be of great use for those responsible for staff working in noisy areas of over 85dB(A) and provide them with the information they need to be aware of in order to comply with the latest regulations. It is clear from the comments that our delegates find this course valuable.”
A new programme of One Day Noise Awareness training days will be announced shortly for 2013.
