SafeEar Noise Warning Signage – the quick & simple way to safeguard employees and visitors hearing

In a world where peoples’ hearing can be affected daily by noise in the workplace, it is imperative that the focus remains on hearing safety.  As a leading provider of noise measurement equipment for the Health & Safety industry, Pulsar Instruments plc continue to provide the cutting edge technology necessary to safeguard hearing and improve the working environment for employees. The PulsarSafeEar noise warning signage is the latest addition to an already extensive range of noise measurement equipment.

Cost-effective, versatile and made entirely in the UK, it is designed to activate when a pre-set noise level is exceeded by becoming ‘alive’ with colour and displaying clear, highly visual warning graphics and safety instructions.  It indicates when hearing protection should be worn and then switches itself off when the noise level has fallen back below the trigger level.

This type of product is also ideal where noise levels need to be monitored but where hearing protection may not be required or feasible such as in libraries, schools, workshops, pubs or nightclubs.

As with all the products available from Pulsar Instruments, these noise warning signs are quick and simple to install.  Simply select the trigger noise level and connect the power supply to the unit.  The unit comes with all necessary fittings to be mounted on a wall.

The PulsarSafeEar is also available as a Remote Display Unit which is controlled by a Master Unit and can be daisy-chained with as many as 3 Remote Units so that a large area can be covered (up to 30m).

There are four designs to choose from depending on the level of noise including ear protection signs and a ‘Shhh Quiet’ sign.

Finally, by adding the data logging software, the PulsarSafeEar can be transformed into a data logging unit and record noise levels over long periods of time, for example, an 8-hour shift.   A graph can then be produced, showing the noise history and which can be printed or saved for future reference.

The PulsarSafeEar noise warning signage is backed by a 2-year warranty and is available worldwide via a network of authorised distributors.

Why not discover our range of sound level metersnoise dosimeters and other ancillary noise measurement products too. For more advise on noise safety visit the HSE (in the UK) or the OSHA (in the USA).
